HERE WE GO!! 365/1
I plan to post only the daily sketch, the time I spent drawing, the technique and the materials I used. I will create a blog list of others who have a DAILY sketch or art activity blog. Let me know if you want to link up. If you have been thinking about creating a blog, now is a great time to jump in! It's easy! You can keep it as private as you wish or share with the world. If you need help with the set up...beg, borrow or steal a teenager. They are amazingly fluent in "computerese". If you think I can help, drop me an e-mail note and I will do my best. Let's make this the most exciting creative year of our lives!

what a great idea! I look forward to seeing your daily drawings. I love your idea of using a 365 calandar - very clever!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!

i am really looking forward to your daily post. I even thought that I will go buy a small daily calendar and join in....then I fell and bummed up my knee so today I will do something in the sketch book.
ReplyDeleteThanks ,
Peggy
Along with the others, I too am looking forward to your daily portraits. I stumbled across your other blog when I was link-surfing and have become a daily visitor. I really like your art, the looseness of it, the colors, everything. Thank you for sharing your art.
ReplyDeleteComing by from Crusty Crone's blog.... Wow,
ReplyDeleteWhat a challenge... I will look forward to your daily portraits. I do watercolor and have only done one self portrait.... Yikes, I don't know if I'm up to it.... but will sure enjoy coming here!!
Wanda from Brushstrokes!
I bought a calendar with German phrases. I plan to draw every day, but not necessarily a self-portrait.
ReplyDeleteYou've got me thinking, now. I could do a website. That would be motivating, too, making it public.
Hi Myrna, Congrats on the new blog. I like how your drawing works with the quilt design. Great shapes and line!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and interesting challenge you have set up for yourself. The quilt pages make a great background. I'm bookmarking this blog so I can check your progress. You are such an inspiration to me.
ReplyDeleteI will be checking here often! Great idea.
ReplyDeleteMyrna, You are a glutton for punishment! Love the idea of this blog and will follow it. I would really like to link up.
ReplyDeleteHi Myrna. I found your site through Peggy's. I'd love you to link to me, if that's not asking too much. I've added you to my list of cool people. I think what you're doing is fascinating. I haven't quite set myself a task of creating art every day but since I study art at college I have to create lots of work, so I'm generally doing several pieces per day.

Hello Myrna. I have just discovered your blog. I am also an artist who lives now in Ohio. I have only just read your first entry. I have to say, I love the painting on your heading and the title of your blog. I look forward to seeing and reading the rest of the entries so far and subscribing or following your blog. I am in Maryland now, snowed in with my daughter and granddaughter. You have inspired me, and so many others, thanks, and when I do my self-portrait later, I will post it on my blog http://prismatic-palette.blogspot.com Please give me a link, and I will do the same for you.
